Description
Called an otoshibuta, this ingenious, traditional lid is designed to rest directly on top of foods cooking in liquid. This action forces the liquid to circulate so foods are coated evenly without stirring; concentrates heat for faster cooking; and holds ingredients in place so they don’t break apart. Fits inside Yukihara pots. Of course, this lid is made of wood, so reusable. Please dry it completely before storing it on a shelf.
